Here are some long awaited pictures of our home in Thiès...

now back outside,

this is the oustide walkway that goes past the large windows in the above picture,

leading to garage

garage area opens to our 3 mango trees right outside the 3 bedroom windows

back on the other side of the house, outside of the kitchen & inside front door

there is the outside shower & bathroom (small bldg w/ 2 doors)

the front door opening to the inside the house is off to the left

these stairs lead up to the roof

our orange tree on the right & the far bldg (see door) is a storage area

and now, look who has decided to take up residence with us...

this little kitty showed up out of the blue one cold December morning

...she refuses to leave...

and, of course, I can't bring myself to get rid of her either

she eats everything I give her

and loves to run & play all around the house

but she's terrified to go outside the house compound and

unfortunately, she's scared of us...

no matter how much I tell her I'm a really nice person & that I love cats, haha...

so for now, she's "living" in the storage bldg

but that won't last forever cause as she gets bigger,

the harder it'll get to sneak in & out of the bldg thru the small opening in the door

we'll just have to see if she continues to stick around

especially since we're leaving soon for the States,

which I'm a little bummed about

cause I'm really loving getting to know this little cutie
