We were incredibly busy all throughout the 2 weeks we recently spent down in Charlotte, NC at SIM attending their candidate orientation from the 3rd-17th, so we don't have a whole lot of pictures to share. Here are a few that we were able to get towards the end of our time there...
Philippe was obviously more relaxed once the intense 2 wks were over, haha
These are all the kids that were part of the orientation with, dressed in traditional
outfits depending on where their family's are planning to go serve God
The woman in the center, Patricia, has shepherded all of us pictured here throughout the entire application process & now she is releasing us into the care of others at SIM to walk the next steps of the journey with us until we're each out on our respective fields of service
We were thrilled to have been able to meet & spend time with this family in particular -
the Larrabee's - Darin, Holly, Samuel, Rebekah & Gabrielle
our future teammates in Senegal
We also had the opportunity to have pictures taken of the two of us
(or should I say, three of us? :-) for our SIM connection card.
Here are some of our favorite outtakes...
