Back together
Philippe & I are back together again...finally!
Thankfully, he was able to get everything done in Senegal that needed to get done & was flew back to the States sooner than we had originally anticipated. I definitely wasn't complaining about that!! He arrived here on June 17th...which I thought was very fitting since that was Father's Day...so he was able to "celebrate" his first Father's Day right next to me & his baby. Right where he belongs.
Perfect.
And, now, we're back at the Wayland's log house.
They offered it to us while they're away until mid-July.
It's the perfect place for us to enjoy being alone together for the last few weeks
before the baby arrives!
Not to mention, it gives my parents a chance to enjoy
their own "calm before the storm", haha.

Baby shower
Christina & my mom organized a baby shower for me & baby Sadio last night & we were incredibly blessed by all our wonderful friends who came out to "shower" us with love & gifts! I can't wait to show Philippe everything that we now have for the baby - it's a little overwhelming, haha. But, it does help me to feel a bit more prepared & ready to have our baby, so I'm really starting to get excited about meeting our little one... SOON!
